My 81 year old grandpa who grew up in small town Wisconsin, has Alzheimer’s, and who has never heard the word transgender before said at a family get together: “he’s a guy now,” referring to me, a trans guy, with a smile on his face and a hand on my shoulder. If he can manage to switch pronouns and names at this point in his life and respect me, then so can you bitches in your 40s and 50s and you can shove your “it’s too confusing” excuse up your ass
